Sharing my Passion

I am Chantale Bejjani, a self-taught artist. My love of art was nurtured by my experiences growing up in Lebanon, rich history of art, culture and diverse landscape that influenced my appreciation for beauty, and being exposed to many different cultures from Brazil, when i resided for few years exposed to the vibrant colors and energy that was incorporated into my own work even if i was not consciously aware of it ,to UAE, that melting pot of cultures that has given me a new perspective on art and creativity where i currently live with my husband and my 2 amazing daughters. However working in the fashion industry for many years had a big impact by enriching my artistic vision. Adding to all that a lot of challenges and some very special moments shaped and influenced my art in a unique way.

 

My work is inspired by the beauty of the natural world, the power of human emotion, and the importance of connection but also it reflects hope and strength that we can find in ourselves to keep going and break the circle despite all the chaos and challenges around us.

 

To express my ideas i use a variety of techniques in painting and drawing with the main medium which is acrylic. I love vivid colors and this is clearly shown within my paintings but also i use bold colors and gestural brushstrokes to create a sense of movement and energy. 

I am always learning and experimenting with new techniques and materials, and I am always striving to create art that is both visually striking and emotionally resonant.

 

I am excited to share my work with you hoping that my art will inspire you to see the world in a new way and to connect with your own creativity. My goal by sharing my painting is to make you take a minute and rethink, smile and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
